Happy Christmas Eve!!!!!!!
I’m so excited, oh my goodness. I love Christmas!!! This is the absolute best time of the year. I can’t even stand it!
We got a real tree today and decorated it with all our thumb print ornaments. They wouldn’t fit on the “main tree” so I suggested we get a real tree for them. We waited till today to get it, and decorated it this evening after church. This is a collection of like 17 years of thumb print ornaments we’ve made at the Fantasy of Trees.
We went to church this evening. The service wasn’t as good as usual. But I always love going to church on Christmas eve. We have a candle light service… but they forgot to do the lighting of the candles. Haha. Oh well. I went back after we decorated the tree for the one at 10 cause Ean was going to that one (he had to work for the first one).
When I was on my way to the 10 pm service I saw Scott and Kristina on the side of the road. They had been in a wreck. It wasn’t a bad one, just a fender bender by a drunk lady. They weren’t injured. Just shaken up a bit. But I called to make sure everything was alright cause I knew it was them as I was passing.
We had finger foods and stuff tonight between the services as well. I love doing that. I love Christmas eve. I’m so excited tomorrow is Christmas!

We had a lovely candle light Awakening service tonight. It was real calm and mellow. I really enjoyed it. After we had a message, we all held candles and sang Christmas songs. I love doing that.
If you can see in the picture, I’m wearing the panda necklace Ean got me for our anniversary. I love pandas! It is such a cute necklace. I love it so much!

This afternoon all the youth (and college) came over to our house for the youth Christmas party. We have had it at our house every year for the past several years (except last year cause the basement was under construction). It was really cool because we had a Christmas pool party! We have a heated pool (though I personally think it is still too cold…) and everyone just loved that. We had a really good time. We played games and stuff after people were done swimming (or those of us who didn’t want to swim just played games). Jacob is a big dork and scraped his nose on the bottom of the pool. We’ve had our pool opened since October maybe and none of us have ever gotten injured in the pool. I swear he’s like 5.

I had my cinematography final today. Normally I don’t have class on Wednesday, but since we don’t have any finals on Friday and this is just a Friday class, we had to come up with another time to have our final. So we chose to do it this morning at 8:30. I’m done with school though for the semester!! I don’t have a final in campus 3 cause our project is basically our grade. I’ll probably get an A cause she said that since our group is doing such a big project we’ll probably all get A’s.
Tonight was the last “real” Awakening of the semester. Next week we’re just going to do something chill cause everyone will just be getting out of school and it will be so close to Christmas and statistically no one comes that night. So we won’t do big worship or anything. We went all out with Christmas songs and everything tonight. We have been for a few weeks and doing Christmas messages and games. I like it.

This evening we had our super awesome “Christmas Night Live” program (that basically Ean and Allie and I came up with and organized and produced, etc…). It turned out amazing and everyone loved it. They said it was the best production they had ever seen. :D
Earlier in the day Ean and I had to go shopping around for props. The band stayed at the church all day so we could rehearse. While they were setting up, we went to look for props for the show. I also found my paint for my DIY gift :D.
We got back and did band practice. Then the other kids got to the church and we rehearsed for the show and went over orders and everything and did a rough run through rehearsal. The final show ended up being absolutely amazing. And at the end of the show Aaron announced that it was basically put together by me, Allie, and Ean, because it basically was. I’m so happy because it was like my first real production and it was a live production. Like real show-biz. And since it turned out so good, that makes me even more happy.
It was so funny, during the show while we were playing, Jacob’s glasses kept sliding down his nose and he couldn’t stop playing cause his guitar is like main part, you know. So I’d stop playing and slide his glasses up. That kept tickling us and we’d just crack up forever every time it happened (which was a lot).
It was so amazing. I wish I could put the whole show in here so everyone could see it. I’m so proud of every student that made it so amazing. Everyone took direction so well and was on top of their game. It was perfect. Best production ever.

Today we had to shoot the Christmas banquet scene for the film. I wish our banquet looked as awesome as this one ^^! We were hard pressed to get extras. I put on Facebook that we desperately needed extras age 21 and older. The only person that came out to help (of my friends) was Laura Meyer! And she was absolutely perfect. Like she was amazing for the roll. So I’m glad she came out. I’m sad this movie is almost over. I’ve had such a good time filming it! We have one more thing to shoot. It will probably be next Saturday. I’ll be sad when it is over.
This evening I had to go babysit at the church cause the Sunday school class that contains a lot of young children was having their Christmas party, so me, Sarah, and Lacie went to babysit all their kids. It was fun cause I love all the people in that Sunday school class (Scott and Kristina, Jacob and Sara, etc) and we had dinner with them and hung out a bit before we took all the kids down to the nursery to play. Sarah brought things so the kids could make Christmas cards for their parents. It was cute. We all had such a good time. The twins were crazy wild. But I enjoy every time I’m with all those kids.

Hahaha what a gross picture, I know. Tonight at the Awakening we played a Christmas game where they had to put Vaseline on their face and then the other person had to throw cotton balls and try to get them to stick like a beard. Whoever had the most cotton balls on their face won. Well Ean decided that he would let Andrew put Vaseline all over his face, so he was covered just in case they could get more balls to stick all over rather than just the beard area. It was so nasty and wouldn’t come off. He was so greasy.
After the Awakening tonight we decorated Christmas trees more. My mom and I have been decorating here and there for weeks and will continue to do so, but we like to make a finger food event out of it at least one night of the year when we can get everyone together and do that. Lacie is never home because she’s always out with her creepy boyfriend Mark, but we were able to get everyone tonight after church.

This is a really funny picture I found of Allie on her Facebook of her and Snickers that she took this morning.
We had this Angel Breakfast for the kids at church this morning. We never go early for the breakfast. My mom and I just went in to do the craft we were helping with. It was fun. I think the kids had fun. My mom always hates doing these things every year, but I like it cause I like hanging out with everyone and I love the kids.
We also did some Christmas decorating this afternoon when we got home. My mom and I are basically the only ones decorating. Everyone else is lazy. Or they just get in the way. I like it cause I love Christmas so much. :)

Ean came over after church today and we worked on skits some more for our program that is coming up in like 3 weeks, and then we swam. The water was really cold today so I was only in there for about 5 minutes. He and Allie swam longer.
At church tonight we got a lot of things together and organized for the program. Jacob is sick with a stomach virus so he wasn’t there. That really threw us off, but Ean, Allie, and I lead things. Michael came and helped lead things. We gave parts out to everyone and read through some skits. We also got prop lists made. So it is progress, but I’m still sooooo stressed.

Today after church Ean came over and helped me set up my Christmas tree. One of them anyway. The one in my sitting room. I have another one going up in my bedroom. I’ve never had this tree before. This one is new. We had a really good time decorating it!
Afterwards we went swimming in my pool. It was just me, Allie, and Ean and we had a really good time. It was all nice and warm, not TOO cold, and we just really enjoyed it.
At church this evening we worked on our youth program skits some. They were having a Thanksgiving service tonight at another church so we only worked for a little bit. We didn’t have band practice because we aren’t having church Wednesday night, so we worked from 4 till 6 on skits and stuff. We got as much written out as we could. I feel like progress is being made, but the performance is in less than a month so I still feel stressed about it.

Gah, look at this baby! She is so pitiful. She still can’t move. Obviously. She won’t be able to walk for awhile. We have to hold her for everything. Bathroom duties, eating, moving around… I gave up my whole day to hold her and take care of her.
Today is actually my sweet baby Chrissie’s birthday. She is 9 I believe. She got a special treat for dinner.
I am really frustrated because tonight at church I discovered that all my money had been stolen. And I’m pretty sure it happened at church, cause I have my purse at all times with me everywhere else I go except church. I went in to get money to give to the offering and every dollar I had was gone. I’m sure I had more than $30. I don’t know the exact amount, but I know it was more than $30. Probably more than $50. Cause I’m sure I had a $20 in there and maybe some $1’s, then I just put $30 in there that Spencer gave me for gas after the Bristol trip. I put that cash in there like Monday. And I ALWAYS have cash with me. Always. I’m positive I had all that money in there, and it is all gone. That is so frustrating cause I have no idea what happened to it or who took it and no one will fess up. I trust these people, or I thought I could anyway. And then they go behind my back and do this. It is so annoying. Like have some manners, kids.

This afternoon we had the shoot for the opening scene of the movie. I went over there after church. That was a fun shoot. We got to work with totally different people and kids. The opening scene of the movie is such a sad scene! But it was fun to shoot it.
After filming I ran home for a bit then went to church. They are all working on our Christmas program during Youth Tech tonight. I had this idea that Ean helped me develop for us to do this Saturday Night Live type thing, called Christmas Night Live, and have like skits and music and stuff. They were getting ideas together tonight, but they didn’t nearly get enough done like I would have hoped. I wasn’t there so I couldn’t hurry it along… I’m so worried about this program. It is in a month and we have like no time to practice or anything. So I guess we’ll see how it goes.
Tonight was a business meeting so Ean and I went to that and still didn’t help with writing skits or anything for the Christmas Night Live.
After church a bunch of my family came over to celebrate my birthday. I was late to it cause the business meeting lasted forever. So I was like scarfing my dinner down while they were all here and then we ate cake after. Allie made the cake. It was so good! The top layer was vanilla, the middle strawberry, and the bottom chocolate. It was amazing.

Happy birthday to me! Today is my 21st birthday!
I slept in this morning. Got a good sleep in. I’m so happy I don’t have classes on Wednesdays. I did clean some today. My dad told me not to clean because it is my birthday. But I have to clean when I get the urge to. Sometimes I just feel like the upstairs is really gross and needs vacuuming or whatever so I have to clean it.
My sisters painted my car last night. The rain washed it off today unfortunately before I could really drive around. Oh well. It was cute and I took pictures of it. Allie also woke me up with an air horn before she left for school. I just rolled over and went back to sleep, haha! She also surprised me with a card she made on Sunday at church and had everyone sign. She also had them write one thing that describes me. It was really nice and I love it so much.
I find it amazing how many people write on your Facebook wall for your birthday! My goodness!
At church tonight we had a guest come in, this guy Jacob knows, that paints while he gives kind of a sermon. It was so awesome! The painting was amazing, and it was so cool watching him do it. He did this painting and then he turned the lights out and and a black light on the painting and Jesus’ face was there (as you can see from the picture I posted)! It is so awesome. I really enjoyed that.
I joked a lot today about how it was my 21st birthday and I celebrated by going to church. Haha! Party hard! (My parents did however give me champagne later this evening after Ean left)
After church we went home and Ean came with us. We had a delicious dinner of baked potatoes, my favorite food. We also had some steak and chicken. But I really just ate the potato. I haven’t had much of an appetite with this cold, which sucks. The potato was extra delicious though. I always love a good baked potato.
After we ate we opened presents. Ean got me a sonic screwdriver from Doctor Who and the new Florence and the Machine CD. I opened those at church cause he couldn’t wait. I got a gift card to Red Robin, a Christmas Tea book with all these recipes and things to read, an Adele record (like legit record for my record player), a polka-dot robe that matches my room, Tinkerbell shower gel, necklace from Urban Outfitters, velvet dress from Urban Outfitters, tan shoes from Urban Outfitters, yellow sweater from Urban Outfitters, a hat from Urban Outfitters, a really cute white peacoat, candles, diamond earrings, and they wrapped up my first baby toy. I mean, that was just so darn cute. They found it while cleaning out the garage the other day and decided to clean it and wrap it up. Oh my silly parents.
We had cake after that. I love cake. It was a cute Tinkerbell cake. We also had birthday cake ice cream, which I love.
And then after Ean left my parents gave me a bit of champagne. Which I already mentioned.
I had a really good birthday :)

I still feel incredibly sick today. It was daylight savings time and I went to bed super early last night, so I was able to get good sleep. Even though I had to get up super early this morning to go unlock the office doors for Spencer before Daddy and I went to church. I had to do sound this morning at church and we had to be there at like 7:30. I just feel terrible. I’m so exhausted.
I only went to the early service this morning. I left after I did the music for children’s Sunday School. Those flowers that you see up there, my parents got those for my birthday. They were in the church. You can order flowers for the sanctuary for special occasions at my church.
We had to film at the office again today. And today’s shoot lasted even longer than yesterdays. Which made me even more sassy and get even more of an attitude with everyone. Which they all, again, thought was funny. We didn’t finish up till about 10:45 tonight. I was in bed by that time last night! Again today I hung out with the talent a lot. I like that. I did audio some, especially when a lot of crew had to leave and I was the only crew left… and I’m the smallest and I had to crouch down in a very small space and not be seen on camera. That was very interesting.
Ahhhhh I need to go to bed!

I am so tired of everything! Today was so ughhhhhhhhhhh. It was all church really. You know, we practice and practice every week and we sound just perfectly FINE in practice. Then when we go to play in performance, IT SUCKS!!! It happens every freaking week! I don’t understand! I’m so tired of it. And every week I just brush it off. I brush it off! But I’m so frustrated to breaking point now because we’ve been playing together for two years and we should be BETTER THAN THIS!!! I wouldn’t mind it so much except for the fact that the youth are sooooo judgmental. They aren’t going to say it to our faces, but behind our backs they talk to each other about how much we suck. And this week has just taken me over the edge. I’m so tired of this that I just want to quit. I love playing in the band. I love it so much. I love playing my bass guitar. I love MUSIC!!! But I am so frustrated I can’t stand it.
Other than that my day was alright. My family went out to eat at our favorite Mexican place after church. I didn’t want to be there. I just wanted to go home and get away from people and just be alone. I just want to scream. I’m so frustrated.
